Countryside masías. Traditional Catalan farmhouses surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and rolling hills. Venues like Can Marial and Mas Coll are perfect for relaxed outdoor ceremonies and long dinners under the lights.

Seaside villas in Sitges. Elegant villas a short drive south of the city, where the ceremony often comes with a view of the sea. Villa Rosa is one of my favourite places to film at golden hour.

Towards the Costa Brava. North of Barcelona, the coastline becomes wilder — pine-covered coves, stone villages and clifftop venues for couples who want something more secluded.

Spanish weddings start later and last longer than most couples expect — and that’s part of the magic.

Late afternoon — the ceremony. Most ceremonies around Barcelona begin around 5 or 6 pm, when the heat softens. I record your vows with separate audio, so every word stays clear in the film.

Golden hour — portraits and drinks. In June and July the sun sets after 9 pm, which gives us a long, warm window for relaxed couple moments without missing your guests.

Late evening — dinner and speeches. Long tables, candlelight and heartfelt speeches. Real voices are the heart of a good wedding film, so I make sure they’re captured properly.

After midnight — the party. First dance, the dance floor and all the joyful chaos that follows. It’s often where the most honest moments of the film come from.

Do you film weddings outside the city of Barcelona?

Yes. Most of my Barcelona weddings take place in the countryside or on the coast — in masías, private villas and venues in Sitges, Maresme and towards the Costa Brava. I’m also available across the rest of Spain.

What’s the best time of day for filming a Barcelona wedding?

The hour before sunset. The light turns soft and warm, the heat fades, and the Mediterranean colours look their best on camera. I usually plan the timeline with you so that couple moments fall into that window.

How far in advance should we book?

For May to October, many couples book 12 months or more ahead, especially for Saturdays. For smaller weddings and weekday dates there is often more flexibility, so it’s always worth asking.

Can you work alongside our photographer and wedding planner?

Of course. I’m used to working with photo teams and planners in Barcelona, and I keep a low profile on the day so everyone can do their job without getting in each other’s way. If you don’t have a photographer yet, I’m happy to recommend one.
